Electrical Appliance Steel & High-performance Components.

Developing highly functional steel sheet products by a fusion of composition/microstructure control technology about substrate sheet, chemical conversion treatment technology and organic coating technology, as well as a variety of utilization/evaluation technologies, the Electrical Appliance Steel & High-performance Components Research Department supplies high performance steel sheets for electrical appliance which meet customers' requirements.

Composition/Microstructure Control Technology

In addition to strength and formability, special functions such as magnetic shielding, etc. are required in steel sheets for electrical appliance. JFE Steel responds these customers' requirements with advanced alloy design.

JFE Steel responds to diverse needs with advanced chemical conversion treatment technology realizing ultra-thin film treatment.
