JGreeX
GX Steel “JGreeX” adopted to Nissan New LEAF

We are pleased to announce that our GX steel “JGreeX” (*1) has been adopted for the new LEAF of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. (Nissan Motor).

 

Nissan Motor plans to achieve carbon neutrality for all of its corporate activities and vehicle lifecycles by 2050 through electrification and manufacturing innovations. As part of this initiative, Nissan Motor announced that they will increase the use of GX steel in the Japanese market starting in fiscal year 2025. GX steel reduces CO2 emissions during manufacturing. This time, the environmental value of “JGreeX” was highly evaluated and adopted for the electric vehicle new LEAF.

 

We will continue to support our customers’ efforts to decarbonize by supplying GX steel “JGreeX” and further advancing our commitment to realizing a carbon-neutral society.
