The off-line simulation model possible to estimate the deposit shape, ore layer thickness ratio, and gas permeability distribution of burden materials charged into the blast furnace, providing quantitative support for understanding the condition of operation and studying operational improvement measures.

Simulates the burden distribution, ore layer thickness ratio, and gas permeability distribution based on input conditions such as blast furnace operating conditions and operational parameters (raw material blending/quality, blast conditions, etc.), charged burden material properties, the charging schedule, etc.

JFE reflected the results of model tests conducted in our company and knowledge gained from the shape of the charged material actually measured before blowing in the furnace, and created a physical model. The model accurately reproduces the deposit shape of the charged materials, also considering the effects of raw material dropping and rolling.
