R&D Base for Steel Materials for Social Infrastructure

The Steel Materials for Application Research & Technology Solution Center —THiNK SMART— is a group of composite exhibition/experimental research buildings where JFE Steel conducts research on steel materials for the social infrastructure for use in the fields of civil works, building construction, and bridges, and on use/processing technologies for those materials. With the distinctive feature of a wide-area open laboratory, centering on the Keihin TH!NK Site, the THiNK SMART Solution Center is accelerating new product/new technology development and solutions to problems facing customers through mutual discussion with the customer by placing customers in direct contact with the most advanced steel products and technologies.
