| 要旨 : 当社知多工場では，昭和53年5月に中径シームレス鋼管工場が，また同年10月には第2中径管工場がそれぞれ営業運転に入った。当社では，これにより小径から大径にいたるあたゆる範囲の鋼管の製造が可能となった。ここでは中径シームレス鋼管工場の概要と特徴をのべる。製造方式はマンネスマンプラグミル法で，外径177.8〜426mm, 肉厚5.5〜40.5mm の油井管やラインパイプをはじめとする高級品質管の製造を行っている。堅型ロール配置のピアサーや単カリバーロール方式のプラグミルなどの採用のほか，コンピュータによる制御方式をとり入れ，すでに各種規格の製品を出荷し好評を得ている。 |
| Synopsis : A 16-inch plug mill and No.2 medium-diameter electric-resistance-weld pipe mill has satisfactorily been in operarion at Chita Works, Kawasaki Steel Corp., since May and Oct. 1978, respectively, giving users a wider choice in the size and kind of products. In this paper, the outline and features of 16-inch plug mill are described. The Mannesmann-Plug mill of single groove type has piercer and elongater of vertical type driven by D.C. motor, and its operation and information processing are computerized over the entire process. High quality products already in manufacture and shipment include line pipes and OCTG with outside diamer ranging form 177.8mm (7in.) to 426mm (16.8in.) incl. and wall thickness form 5.5mm (0.2in.) to 40.5mm (1.6in.) incl. |
