要旨

さまざまな用途に使用される鋼管は，製造方法や求められる特性も多岐にわたっている。本稿では，JIS（日本工業規格）に規定された鋼管を中心に用途と特性および使用時に考慮すべき項目を解説する。

Abstract

Steel pipes are manufactured in variety of processes and used for various purposes along with many different expected properties. This article outlines applications, characteristics and considerable items for actual use of steel pipes which are mostly provided in Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS).
