JFE Engineering, a leading
company of electronic auction systems for
wholesale markets, is also developing an electronic
commerce system which deals with horticultural
products over the Internet, and has recently
introduced it into the leading flower wholesale
markets in Japan. The system is intended to
be suitable for traditional commercial practice
of horticultural trading as well as to achieve
rationalization effects. The actual application
of the system proved the effects as expected.
