the use of higher strength steel is promoted
in view of the needs for reducing weight.
JFE Steel has been developing and manufacturing
steel plates, steel bars and welding consumables
having properties suitable specifically for
the above-mentioned fields. In the field of
power generation plant, materials applicable
to highly efficient power generation is required.
High Cr alloy steel pipes having improved
high-temperature strength and resistance to
oxidation have been developing and manufacturing
for the heat recovery steam generator. With
high appreciation in the market, the production
amount of these products have been increasing.
