JFE Steel Renews Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement
with GMH (Germany) on Special Steel Bars

TOKYO – JFE Steel Corporation and Georgsmarienhütte GmbH (GMH) of Germany have agreed to renew the comprehensive cooperation agreement on special steel bars for parts manufacturers in the automotive and bearing industries signed in April 2002.

Mutual technology exchanges between JFE Steel and GMH have helped both companies to respond better to the needs of rapidly globalizing automakers and parts manufacturers.

The agreement was renewed because the companies consider continued partnership to be an effective means for responding to the increasingly sophisticated requirements of the abovementioned sectors.
