概要:

基盤技術研究所では，鉄鋼事業と総合エンジニアリング事業に共通するさまざまな要素技術のうち，特に重要かつ対外的に優位にあるものを「戦略的基盤技術－SCT」と位置付け，戦略的な育成・展開を計ってきた。その概要と代表的な適用事例を，SCTの9つの技術領域（計測，制御，数理・システム，機械，土木・建築，無機材料，物理・化学解析，環境・バイオ，触媒）ごとに紹介する。

Abstract:

R&D in the Applied Technology Research Center covers the technical fields common to both steel division and engineering division. The most significant and characteristic technologies, SCT (Strategic Core Technologies), and their applications are outlined.
