| 要旨 : 1983年11月にUOE鋼管工場に導入された生産管理システムは，受注から製造，出荷までの全プロセスを管理するものであり，生産性の向上や品質管理に大きく貢献している。当工場においては，全域にわたり鋼管の自動トラッキングに基づく現品管理がなされている。本システムにおいては，単に機械試験や非破壊検査に合格することをもってパイプを出荷するのではなく，パイプ一品毎に各工程において所定の製造，検査仕様に適合しているか否かのチェックがなされて次の工程に進むことを基本思想として，作業指示や実績収集，合否判定などがなされる。また溶接状況監視装置や，パイプNo.読取装置などの自動機器が数多く用いられていることも本システムの特徴である。 |
| Synopsis : The Production Control System adopted by the UOE Pipe Plant in November 1983 supervises all the processes ranging from order receiving to manufacture and to shipping. It has been contributing greatly to productivity and quality control. Each pipe piece is identified at any place in the plant by automatic material tracking. The feature of this system consists in the principle that no pipe piece in processing is permitted to move from one stage to the next unless it fully meets given operating instructions and quality requirements based on all necessary data collected and product evaluation standards established for each stage. In this system, therefore, the passing of mechanical testing and nondestructive inspection is only a partial requirement for product shipping approval. Added feature of this system is the use of many automated equipment such as welding condition monitor, and pipe number readers. |
