| 要旨 : 千葉製鉄所では西工場の建設によって老朽原料設備を更新し，大型船の使用による原料コストの低減，設備合理化による大幅な省力を達成して，粗鋼年産850万ｔに対処し得る態勢を整備すると同時に，環境対策を充実して“クリーン製鉄所”の実現をめざしている。建設にあたっては，海外焼結鉱の受入れのために輸送物の粉化防止対策を実施し，集塵の強化，湿式落鉱処理の採用によって発塵を防止し環境の美化に貢献するとともに，コンピュータの導入によって情報処理の速度と精度を高めた。今後の方向としては，ヤード機械の集中遠隔操作システムと，コンピュータによるベルトコンベアの系統選択自動運転システムの完成を指向している。 |
| Synopsis : At Chiba Works, replacements of old-fashioned raw material handling facilities have been completed through the construction of the new West Plant. The new facilities, aiming at lowering the raw material freight cost by the use of the giant ore/coal vessels and saving manpower, serve not only for the expected annual raw-steel production of 8.5 million metric tons in future but also for making "Clean Works" with their pollution preventive facilities by the use of new and highly automated equipment. Among many measures, there are ones for preventing disintegration of sintered ore during its handling, and others for plant cleaning by an effective deducting technique and a washing-away system for the materials dropped from the conveyor. A computer system makes the data processing more speedy and effective. The central-tele-control system for stackers/reclaimers and the automatic conveyor-route-selection system will be developed in the near future. |
