| 要旨 : 1972年７月水島製鉄所棒鋼工場が稼働開始した。当設備の生産能力は第１次計画では，月産30,000t，第２次計画では，55,000tであり，生産可能寸法は16〜70mmφである。第２次計画の設備が全部完成すると，直棒とバーインコイルの両方が生産可能であるが，今回完成した第１次計画の設備では，直棒だけの生産である。当工場の特徴は，素材ビレットに145mm角を用いて単重２tとし，大型化による生産性を増大するとともに，圧延機はＨ−Ｖ配列による連続圧延機を採用して，高速度圧延ならびに高品質の生産を可能としたことである。 |
| Synopsis : The new bar mill at Mizushima Works went into operation in July 1972. The mill is designed to produce round bars and coils ranging from 16mm to 70mm in diameters with monthly production of 55,000t at final stage. At present, it produces only round bars with monthly production of 30,000t. Features of the mill include large weight billet of 145mm square, 2,000kg for high productivity, no-twist continuous H-V arrangement of mill-stands, high rolling speed of 20mps for the smallest size and high quality. |
