| 要旨 : 製鉄メーカーとして初めてのエッジプレーナーが，川崎製鉄（株），千葉製鉄所厚板工場に1971年２月完成，営業運転に入った。本機は，最大長さ21ｍ，最大厚さ40mm，最大幅4ｍの鋼板をＵ，Ｖ，Ｘ，Ｙなどの溶接用開先に切削加工を行なうもので，幅自動設定装置などを整備し，すぐれた仕上寸法精度が得られる最新式の設備である。能力は15,000t/moｎthである。 |
| Synopsis : In February 1971, an edge planer started to operate at Chiba Works as the first machine of its kind ever installed at any steel plant. With its capacity 15,000t/month, it is equipped with the automatic width setter, and can shape various kinds of edge figures such as U, V, X and Y for welding grooves. The maximum dimensions of plant which can be treated are length; 21,000mm, width; 4,000mm, thickness; 40mm. |
