Synopsis : A new finishing plant for stainless steel sheets was built in Hanshin Works and went into operation on May 1983. In order to improve material flow, various facilities which had been distributed over the entire cold strip show were integrated in the new plant, which has many features in mechanisms and systems. The new plant consists of the following facilities: a slitting line (3600t/month), recoiling line (5000t/month), coil shearing line (3000t/month), and stretching-shearing line (2300sheet/month). Auxiliary facilities such as the reinspection table, packing line and automated warehouse for semifinished sheet products are connected to the coil shearing line with carriage conveyer systems. |
